Each year H.E.A.R.T. helps raise $100,000 in support of the VIP. Annual donations are used to support client needs not traditionally funded by other sources. For example, tax-deductible donations from H.E.A.R.T. members allow a rape victim to leave the clinic in new underwear and sweatpants, and help to ensure immediate shelter and clothing for a mother and child fleeing a violent home. Funds help children who need tutors, bus passes and computers so they may succeed in school.

H.E.A.R.T. members pledge a minimum annual commitment of $1,000. This commitment may come in a variety of forms including giving a donation personally or perhaps from a family foundation and/or getting donations from friends, family members, and employers and through other creative ways. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent provided by law.
